Are you confused by the students’ class history? It happens.
Many of you might be unsure about which lesson to teach your students. I understand you guys. Due to the increasing number of students and courses, our class details have been expanded constantly. The changes in our system can be confusing for those who are unfamiliar. Today I will guide you through the necessary steps that will spare you some time and confusion. Let's go!
Every coach is probably familiar with the booking cards on your dashboard. The easy first step, we'd like you to take note of the ticket types that students use to book classes. Mainly, we categorize them into 2 types as follows:
But sometimes, free-talking courses may be embedded with regular 1-1 classes, such as ‘Business G4 [Free-talking]’ or ‘Free-talking 24’. Therefore, the coach may need to check the name of the lesson carefully before starting to teach.
Now comes the important part that the mistakes tend to occur, teaching the wrong lesson when students switch to a new course. Here are the 3 major cases that occur often.
From the cases above, It is evident that the most important thing you should check is the student's learning history, both the latest lessons and the latest courses that students take.
However, we have also created a tool to help solve this problem. There will now be a message shown in the previous class information section of the student's booking card when they start a new course. The message will appear as follows.
If you see a message like this, it means that students switch to a new course and you should teach lesson 1.
Near the previous class information button, there is a ‘Class History’ button. If you click on the button, you will find the class history of each student.
Furthermore, if you need to see the whole class history of the student, you can do so by scrolling down, on the bottom right corner, there is a button to see the full version.
This step will bring you to the full Class History page that you can check the student's whole class history.
This step is very helpful for coaches to get a full picture of the student's learning history. But coaches also need to carefully look at the course names and lessons of each student because sometimes students may use a mix of different types of tickets; for example,
From the possible mishaps we mentioned above, we also have to ask for your cooperation to be careful when making reports. The coach is required to provide the correct lesson number and lesson name, so that when the next coach checks for class details, they get accurate information.
We hope this article will help you avoid the mistakes of teaching the wrong lesson and facilitate you during the class preparation process.
